My fiancé & I totaled our own car many months ago, caused us for finding alternate means of the transportation. Many friends have recommended zip car for us, & I’ve been happy with my own membership. I normally use zip car for appointments or errands, usually not four hours at certain time. Cars are almost clean, complete tank of the gasoline (only once was a car at 1/4 tank, that is a rule), & on its place in my booking time at USA car rental. I and My fiancé share the membership & there were two recent situations on which I have been impressed with zip car response.
1. We had a car booked previous week for few errands & car we reserved wasn’t there. We called the zip car & they immediately transfer our reservation to car which was more costly than a one we had reserved, & we can stay on the schedule from Boston car rentals. They are very apologetic, & handled situation quickly.
2. Other situation is that I booked the car for twenty-four hours (1st time I would ever done). I got sick & have to cancel my journey. While I tried cancelling the reservation on zip car, I learnt that you should give twenty-four hours notice for cancelling the reservation that’s for eight hours. I have only earlier rented cars for eight hours & for those bookings you have to offer three hours to cancel with no fees. I was upset on learning this, but this was my fault. Still, I thought what, I will write zip car & see if they may do one time forgiveness & charge me the smaller fee on that day rates would had been at car rentals san Antonio. They write back & refunded whole reservation!!! It’s the one time refund, to which I am grateful as well. It even sucked to cancel my journey at 1st place & it was made even better by folks at the zip car being very nice.
Biggest fan of this corporate–if you need the car every now & then, I surely recommend zip car.
